New Nike 6.0 Dunk SE

Inspired by the iconic car from Back To The Future, Nike 6.0 presents for Holiday 2010 the Nike 6.0 Dunk SE DeLorean. The low top sneaker comes with an entirely seamless one piece upper, including the outer sole. The sneaker is constructed in similar fashion as the Foamposite and Jordan Anodized styles. The DMC logo has been embossed on the heel of the silver sneaker. The outer sole is inspired by the rear lights on Doc Brown’s time machine. The box comes with dual Nike 6.0 and DMC branding and it opens just like the car does.

The Nike Dunk High 6.0 - 342257 is one of the most notable products in the 'high' Nike dunks family. This is a family it shares with among other notable products, the Barricade Transformers Customs High Nike Dunks, the Custom Red Bull High Nike Dunks, the oddly-named Hi SBTX (x) Lazy Nike, the 6.0 Black Coral High Nike Dunk and the rather rare Pharrell High Nike Dunk. I must confess, though, that of all Nike that have come into my possession at various points in previous years, it is the Nike 6.0 - 342257 that I have gotten most enchanted with.

If the Nike 6.0 - 342257 is notable for one thing, then that thing is height; for this is a spectacularly tall toe. Most of the height on this shoe is built into its upper body, for its sole (while considerably thick by ordinary shoe standards) is still relatively modest by Nike standards. As one would expect in a 'dunk,' the gradient that makes Nike 6.0 - 342257 a tall shoe starts building on the front part of the shoe, immediately past the part where the toes go in - and goes on unabated up to the highest point of the shoe; the middle portion where the tongue of the shoe meets the trunk of the dunk-wearer's foot.

The Nike 6.0 Dunk SE DeLorean will be released on Black Friday, November 26th, limited to 1000 pairs worldwide.
