Taking the adidas Originals DNA off the basketball court and into the streets, the sportswear label is onto its new collaboration with Foot Locker Europe by taking some of its most iconic basketball court shoes–the Top Ten and Hardcourt Hi– and giving them new styling and some tough street credibility. The classics are given a wilder image with oversized Trefoil logos such as the large silver Trefoil on the tongue of the navy rip-stop hardtop and the rear of the Top Ten Hi with a mesh tongue. In another case, adidas Originals and Foot Locker opted for more interesting material such as denim to keep the Hardcourt Hi and Hooded Flock more stylistically casual than performance.
To go with the shoes, adidas Originals revived one of its most endearing and enduring items, the Hooded Flock, in adidas Originals white and blue colorways and made it reversible. Aside from the Top Ten, Hardcourt and Hooded Flock, the collection also includes the HF FZ1 Mesh Jacket and two caps to keep the entire look pulled together and truly Originals.
